The Dog Bar
Wanna grab a drink, but your dog REALLY wants to play? Head to NODA and take your dog to the Dog Bar. The Dog Bar is an off leash bar where you can drink and your dog can play. This is the perfect place to go on a cool summer night with the bar being outdoors.They do not serve food, but they do offer live music and drink specials with an extensive beer list. Lucky Dog Bark and Brew
Lucky Dog Bar is also a great option if you want to drink while your pup plays. Your dog can play rain or shine since Lucky Dog Bark and Brew has both an indoor and outdoor area. Not only do they have a bar, but they also offer boarding, daycare, and grooming services. The Lucky Dog Bar does not provide food services, but you can bring your own food or order takeout from the local food trucks and restaurants they work with. The Whitewater Center
The White Water Center is full of adventure and excitement for your dog. Your pup can explore the outdoors by walking with you, on-leash, on one of the many trails at the White Water Center. Dogs are even allowed to kayak or paddle-board with their owners on the Catawba River. The center also offers dog accessories in their shop just in case you forget something. Mary Warner Mack Dog Park
The Mary Warner Mack Dog Park is a 12 acre enclosed dog park. The best part of this dog park is that it includes an off-leash dog trail perfect for both you and you pet to get exercise. It is located within the Anne Springs Close Greenway that requires a membership. However, the park offers open house every few months for people to try the dog park before making a commitment. The membership allows access to any of the Greenway’s locations which include an abundance trails. The Mary Warner Mack Dog Park is located at 148 Adventure Road, Fort Mill, SC 29715.
Crowders Mountain State Park
Just outside of Charlotte you can find great hiking trails for you and our dog at Crowders Mountain. You can choose from 11 trails that range from pastoral to strenuous. Most of the trails are 1 to 3 miles that include steps easy for Fido to walk on. Landsford Canal State Park
Landsford canal is the perfect place to take your four legged friend. You and Fido can explore the remains of the historic remains of the canal system as you walk their trails. Other activities include fishing, picnicking, or kayaking. Each year, beautiful Rocky Shoals Water Lilies bloom between May and mid June.
